The Rotary Club of Campbell announces the Fourth Annual Valley Flavors, to be held Sunday, June 7th, from 4-6pm in the beautifully renovated Orchard City Banquet Hall in Campbell. This is a great opportunity to meet Rotarians and friends while tasting dishes from many area restaurants along with wines and beers from local producers.
Campbell Rotary is known for its commitment to the community and especially youth, providing back packs and supplies to the children served by EMQFamiliesFirst, running leadership programs for high school students, a speech contest and scholarships for graduating seniors at Del Mar and Willow Glen High Schools. But that is not all the club does.
“We love the hands-on stuff like serving dinner at HomeFirst, park improvement projects and serving breakfast to Cancer Survivors at the Relay for Life in July,” says John Shannon, Club President, “and we always have fun while working together with the community.”
This year’s Valley Flavors will feature wines from nine local wineries, including Stefania Wine, Regale, Thomas Kruse, Il Cuore, Satore Cellars, Joseph George Fine Wines, J.Lohr, Travieso and Loma Prieta Winery; and taste offerings from Brown Chicken Brown Cow, Tessora’s Barra di Vino, Rock Bottom, The Olive Bar, Whole Foods Market, Buca di Beppo, Snake & Butterfly, Steeper’s Tea and more. Last year craft beer was added to the event, and this year will feature local breweries Gordon Biersch and Rock Bottom.
Guests will vote on the “Best Taste” in several categories and have an opportunity to bid on many fantastic auction prizes. Admission is $25 in advance or $30 at the door.
