Financial Planning & Charitable Giving

Jeff Orth is the principal with Gilroy based Integrated Financial Benefits Network, and addressed the club on the topic of charitable giving and financial planning.

Jeff is no mild-mannered Rotarian. As a member of the Gilroy Club, Jeff is also in his third year as “New Generations” Chair for District 5170. He is also a Lt. Governor-elect. And now, Jeff has transferred his energy and excitement for Rotary into advanced planning for charitable giving, including endowments and bequests.

In addition to covering the value of estate planning — including tips for choosing a financial advisor — Jeff also discussed a variety of giving methods, including wealth replacement trusts donor advised funds, charitable remainder trusts, lead trusts, and other financial products.
